asked the Minister for the Civil Service what agreements are in operation with Civil Service trades unions regarding maximum staffing levels in given areas of accommodation.

There are agreed office accommodation standards which specify for particular units of accommodation the space standards for particular groups of staff. These standards are published and copies are placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
