HC Deb 21 February 1984 vol 54 cc507-8W
Mr. Beith

asked the Under-Secretary of State answering in respect of the Arts what plans he has to implement the recommendations of the report of a working party of the Museums and Galleries Commission on museum travelling exhibitions.

Mr. Waldegrave

My noble Friend is considering those recommendations which require his approval. However, most of them are addressed to the national museums and galleries and the Arts Council and it will be for them to decide what action to take.

Mr. John MacKay

Treatment in Scotland of end-stage renal failure is provided by five health boards; this service is taken into account in their financial allocations. My Department is reviewing the situation to see whether there are any particular problems and, if so, what might be done to overcome them.
