HC Deb 20 February 1984 vol 54 c423W
Mr. David Atkinson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement about the availability of chiropractic treatment in the National Health Service.

Mr. John Patten

Treatment by independent chiropractors is not available within the National Health Service, but if a doctor working within the service feels that he can provide his patients with chiropractic treatment himself, it is open to him to do so.
