HC Deb 20 February 1984 vol 54 c406W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will provide funds through the Scottish Education Department for Napier college as a central institution to improve its accommodation by possible purchase of part of Saint Andrew's college.

Mr. Allan Stewart

Discussions with Lothian regional council over the proposed transfer of Napier college to central institution status are in progress. These discussions will take account of the college's accommodation requirements, whether at the Craiglockhart campus of St. Andrew's college of education or elsewhere.
