HC Deb 20 February 1984 vol 54 c436W
Mr. Terlezki

asked the Secretary of State for Defence why Her Majesty's Government have not taken steps to require the removal of campers and caravaners from such land at the perimeter of Greenham common base which his Department owns; and if he will now take steps to do so.

Mr. Stanley

[pursuant to his answer, 9 February 1984, c. 697]: The ownership of the land in question has been uncertain, and it is only recently that it has been firmly established as being in the ownership of my Department. Steps in respect of those camped on the land are under consideration.
