§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the consultancy firms which have received 347W contracts from his Department, the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise, respectively, in the past four years, stating subjects of such contracts and the fees paid in each case.
§ Mr. Hayhoe[pursuant to the reply, 10 February 1984, c. 806]: In the past four years HM Treasury (including the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency), the Inland Revenue and Customs and Excise have used consultancy firms on more than 60 occasions. In view of its length, I will send the hon. Member a copy of the list, and make further copies available in the Library.
