asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what have been the average hospital waiting lists for inpatients and outpatients in the Calderdale health authority in each year since 1974; and how many patients have been treated per annnum.

The available information is given in the table. Information on waiting lists for out-patients is not held centrally.

I hope that this wider publicity will mean that people find out the necessary health protection for the places they are visiting and get the protection planned well in advance of their tourist or business trip.
