§ Mr. Pawseyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what steps he will take in respect of difficulties created by the French authorities in respect of British whisky exports.
§ Mr. ChannonDepartments keep in close contact with the Scotch Whisky Association and do what they can to help overcome obstacles to United Kingdom whisky exports. If my hon. Friend will write to me with details of the specific difficulties to which he refers in relation to France, I will advise him of the steps we have taken or which are open to us.
