§ Mr. LuceWe wish to develop our interests in the region. To this end we seek to promote solutions to regional conflicts and the restoration of stability. We support all sensible moves towards a just and lasting settlement of the Arab-Israel dispute. We are working closely with others committed to the restoration of stability, sovereignty and independence in Lebanon. We aim to play a constructive role in moves aimed at ending the Iran-Iraq war.
