asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his latest estimate of the cost to public funds of maintenance and security at the residence of the former college of education at Hamilton since 1 November 1982.

In the period between the conclusion of missives with Miller Homes Northern Ltd. in November 1982 and the final conclusion of the sale to Millers in mid-December 1983, the total cost of maintenance and security at the residences was £106,000.
