Mr. Peter Robinson

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many tax inspectors have been employed in Northern Ireland in each of the last five years to investigate tax evasion.

Investigation of tax evasion is part of the normal duties of Inland Revenue staff. It is estimated that the total resources allocated to investigating evasion in Northern Ireland were as follows:
