§ Mr. Alexander FletcherIf the United Kingdom bid for the Community trade marks office is to succeed we must convince our Community partners of the merits of a particular location. London was put forward after a careful consideration of other possible places in the United Kingdom. It remains our choice because it offers the best chance of succeeding against the strong competition from other Community countries.
