asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will consider providing financial assistance to house owners in timber-framed dwellings who have had their homes damaged as a result of applying a urea-formaldehyde insulation process to their cavity walls.

No. It would not be appropriate to commit Exchequer assistance to private house owners in respect of problems for which the Government have no responsibility.
