asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many redundancies were reported in each of the travel-to-work areas in Northern Ireland in the years 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982, respectively, in total and sub-divided by standard industrial classification order.

Information on redundancies by travel-to-work areas is available from 1980, the total numbers in each area for 1980, 1981 and 1982 are as follows:
