asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) how many persons arrested because of involvement in demonstrations in March and April 1983 concerning the death of Colin Roach have been convicted before lay magistrates benches; and how many have been acquitted;

(2) how many persons arrested because of involvement in demonstrations in March and April 1983 concerning the death of Colin Roach have been convicted before stipendiary magistrates benches; and how many have been acquitted.
