§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will estimate the costs in 1983–84 of (a) mortgage interest relief, (b) capital gains tax relief on only or main residence, (c) special rate of corporation tax for building societies, (d) exemptions applicable to capital transfer tax and (e) total exemptions applicable to capital gains tax.
