§ Sir George YoungThe Housing and Building Control Bill will increase the maximum right-to-buy discount from 50 per cent. to 60 per cent. for tenants of 30 or more years' standing. This change will significantly extend the opportunities for purchase among long-standing tenants. The Government have no present plans to introduce legislation on the lines suggested by my hon. Friend.
