HC Deb 08 February 1984 vol 53 c598W
Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Prime Minister if the Civil Aviation Authority will be receiving submissions from various Government Departments regarding consultation on airline competition policy; and if she will publish in the Official Report the Departments which are expected to submit evidence to the Civil Aviation Authority; and if she will make a statement.

The Prime Minister

As part of its current review of airline competition policy the Civil Aviation Authority has invited comments from the Scottish Office, the Northern Ireland Department of the Environment and the Office of Fair Trading with all of which it has regular contacts on air transport matters. I expect all three to reply to the authority.
