HC Deb 07 February 1984 vol 53 c551W
33. Mr. Evennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what proposals he has for reforming the secondary schools curriculum in England and Wales; and whether he will make a statement.

Sir Keith Joseph

At the north of England conference on 6 January I put forward proposals designed to lead to greater clarity and agreement about the objectives of the curriculum in primary and secondary schools. I am at present discussing these proposals with my partners in the education service. For further detail I refer my hon. Friend to what I said to the House on 20 January.—[Vol. 52, c. 595–604.]
