§ Mr. Mark Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what are the Government's intentions regarding further aid to Grenada.
§ Mr. RaisonI am today informing the Grenada Government that we are prepared to make available a new interest-free loan of £1 million for expenditure on capital projects to be agreed between our two Governments. This follows an initial commitment of £750,000 which I announced to the House on 28 November last—[Vol. 49, c. 378] — to help meet immediate development needs following the events of last October.
In addition, I have made provision for an ongoing programme of technical co-operation to assist with advisory and training needs.
