§ Mr. Wyn RobertsFollowing the submission of such proposals to the Government by the salmon sales group of the National Water Council, the Welsh Office joined the other Fisheries Departments in seeking the views of interested parties. Those in Wales which responded were the Carmarthenshire Fishermen's Federation, the Farmers Union of Wales, the South West Wales Angling Federation, the Welsh Anglers Council and the Welsh Salmon and Trout Association. The Welsh water authority has been involved in meetings with the Departments at which the proposals were discussed.
