HC Deb 06 February 1984 vol 53 c443W
18. Mr. Hanley

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he has any plans to increase the annual number of aircraft transport movements at Heathrow from the currently agreed maximum of 275,000; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Ridley

There is no limit at present on the number of movements at Heathrow. The Government have stated that a limit of 275,000 air transport movements per annum will be imposed when the fourth terminal is opened in late 1985.
