§ Mr. Andrew Bowdenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what information he has on the kinds of households in receipt of fuel benefits; if he will publish the numbers and proportions of recipients of fuel benefits who live (a) in council or publicly-owned housing, (b) in private rented housing and (c) in their own houses; and if he will list the numbers of households involved who are (i) pensioners, (ii) one-parent families, (iii) with an unemployed head of household, (iv) disabled and (v) other.
§ Dr. BoysonInformation about supplementary benefit claimants receiving heating additions is obtained from the annual statistical enquiry conducted in December each year using a sample of current claims to benefit. The following information was obtained from the enquiry conducted in December 1982.
