§ Mr. Iain Millsasked the Secretary of State for Transport what cost-benefit analysis has been carried out by his Department on the benefits from the Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations 1981 as applied to vehicles.
§ Mrs. ChalkerI believe my hon. Friend is referring to the Dangerous Substances (Conveyance by Road in Road Tankers and Tank Containers) Regulations 1981. These were made on proposals from the Health and Safety Commission after full consultation with interested parties and due consideration of the costs imposed by additional requirements.
