§ Mr. Fosterasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he is satisfied that other agencies will be able to act as intermediaries in negotiations for regional funding from the European Commission, in the event of the demise of the British Technology Group's regional boards in the Northern region.
§ Mr. Trippier[pursuant to the reply, 2 February 1984, c. 297]: Since all negotiations for grant from the European regional development fund are conducted by the Government with the Commission and the ERDF management committee, the question does not arise.
