Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will publish a table showing the income per student received from the Department of Education and Science by each university in England.

Mr. Brooke

The income per full-time equivalent student from recurrent grant through the University Grants Committee for each university in England in the academic year 1981–82 was as follows. The figures do not include capital or furniture and equipment grant.
