asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report the names of organisations and individuals who have made representations to the Government about the proposed abolition of the Greater London council and the metropolitan county councils.

No. To provide such a list would be disproportionately costly.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will place in the Library copies of all representations made to the Government on their proposals in the White Paper, Cmnd. 9063.

No. It is for those making representations to make them available if they wish.
