Mr. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Germany and Japan a comparison of export prices and volumes based on 1980 and 1975 figures for the years in which the two series overlap.

United Kingdom indices were rebased back to 1978. The published series for these countries between 1978 and 1982 are in the table.
