HC Deb 02 February 1984 vol 53 c335W
Ms. Richardson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the cervical cancer rate for girls aged 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 years by year from 1969 to 1982.

Mr. John Patten

Numbers of newly diagnosed cases of cervical cancer by single year of age are not analysed routinely and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. The following table gives numbers and rates per 100,000 female population for new registrations of malignant neoplasm of cervix and carcinoma in situ of cervix for the age group 15–19.
