There are five local enterprise agencies presently operating in Humberside.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry how many local enterprise agencies are in existence; and how many are in the process of being set up.

Mr. Trippier

There are 187 local enterprise agencies in existence including all those organisations which have been approved as local enterprise agencies under section 48 of the Finance Act 1982. Some 50 more are in varying stages of formation.
