§ Rev. William McCreaasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will appoint a member of the Ulster Democratic Unionist Party to the Northern Ireland Housing Executive Board.
§ Mr. Chris Patten[pursuant to his reply, 23 January 1984, c. 520]: At present there are 10 members serving on the Housing Executive Board, which is the statutory maximum; three are nominated by the Housing Council. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State will continue to make his appointments of members for the personal contribution they can make.
