asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the total number of young people who have become unemployed and who have registered at unemployment benefit offices in each travel-to-work area in Cumbria in the last month for which statistics are available.

The following gives, for the areas specified, the numbers of claimants aged under 18 years who became unemployed between the unemployment counts taken on 10 November and 8 December 1983.
