Mr. Fatchett

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many orders were being supervised by West Yorkshire probation service on 31 March 1983 and 31 March 1984 in respect of (a) supervision orders, (b) probation orders, (c) suspended sentence supervision orders, (d) young prisoners' licences, (e) parole, (f) life licences, (g) matrimonial supervision orders, (h) fine supervision orders and (i) any other orders.

Information relating to 31 March 1983 is given in the following table. Corresponding figures for 31 March 1984 are not available centrally because of industrial action by some members of the probation service.
