HC Deb 20 December 1984 vol 70 c302W
Mr. Terry Davis

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how often he or any other Ministers in his Department have met the executive director of the World Bank appointed by the United Kingdom to discuss the policies or reports of the World Bank.

Mr. Raison

I have met the United Kingdom executive director on two occasions during the past year. The Government's instructions are normally communicated to the executive director by letter and telegram, and not in the course of personal meetings.
