§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report a list of all the occupational pension schemes in the public sector, both local and central Government employees, whose members are required to take all or part of their pension in a lump sum on retirement.
§ Mr. HayhoeFixed lump sums form part of the occupational pension scheme benefits for the Civil Service, local government, teaching, NHS and the armed forces. Such an arrangement also applies in a number of occupational schemes covering the staff of fringe bodies.
