§ Mr. Allan StewartSeparate figures for Scotland for the industries most clearly related to tourism are available from the detailed census of employment. Figures for September 1981 were published in the supplement to the December 1983 issue of theEmployment Gazette. Figures for September 1984 will be published in due course. As regards estimates of GB employment and the definitional difficulties in this field, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given on 14 December, at column 630, by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Employment.
