Merseyside, Liverpool (Kirkdale)
The Merseyside Advisory Training Unit in Kirkdale serves both adults and young people. It provides specialist assessment packages to assist jobseekers to prepare for work or for further training, and provides employers with suitable recruits at below full skills level.
A number of short courses are run and waiting times vary from 1 week to 2 months. The role of the centre would change significantly if Liverpool skillcentre were closed.
There are 60 on the waiting list at the moment.
