§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on Scottish Development Department circular letter 72/1972 concern-ing the disregarding of war disablement and war pensions for the purposes of rent and rebate schemes.
§ Mr. AncramOn 1 April 1983 the rent rebate scheme was replaced by housing benefit, which is the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services. As a consequence, SDD circular letter 72/1972 has been cancelled.
