HC Deb 19 December 1984 vol 70 cc235-6W
Mr. Ashley

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give figures for the London postgraduate hospitals that had their own board of governors before reorganisation, showing the revenue and capital available to each in the last year before reorganisation, and that available in the current year; what was the percentage charge for each; and which are run by special health authorities and which by district health authorities.

Mr. Kenneth Clarke

[pursuant to the reply, 11 December 1984, c. 475]: The table shows the revenue cash limits allotted to each of the London postgraduate teaching hospitals for the financial years 1981–82 and 1984–85 and the percentage increase over the period, together with the capital cash limits for these years which reflect the hospitals' capital programmes. Details of the status of their present managing authorities are also set out in the table.
