§ Mr. David Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will amend the regulations governing the operation of estate rate heating additions so as to provide that in the case of submissions which are approved, benefit is payable for the date of submission rather than the date of approval.
§ Mr. WhitneyThe basis of our policy is set out in my reply to the hon. Member for Greenock and Port Glasgow (Dr. Godman) on 19 November at column70 and we have no plans at present to amend the regulations.
