§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Wales on how many occasions in the years 1981–82, 1982–83 and 1983–84 each of the Forestry Commission's regional advisory committees in Wales examined applications for grant or felling licences to which objections have been received; and in how many cases in each year in each conservancy the commissioners sought his views, following the regional advisory committee's failure to reconcile the views of the parties concerned.
§ Mr. John Stradling ThomasNo applications for grant or felling licences were considered by Regional Advisory Committees in Wales in 1981–82 or in 1982–83. In 1983–84 two grant applications and one felling licence application were considered.
No case was referred to my right hon. Friend during the three years in question.
