§ Mr. Skeetasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will take steps to ensure that drafts of regulations to be made under the Food and Environment Bill will be available to right hon. and hon. Members before the Committee stage of the Bill in this House.
§ Mr. JoplingNo. I am concerned that the publication of draft regulations would prejudge the outcome both of the House's deliberations and of further consultations with other interested parties. However, my right hon. and noble Friend the Minister of State has already provided a 201W statement of intention about the regulations in another place, and I shall ensure that this is available to hon. Members.
