§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable of Hampshire police as to how many persons have been arrested by the police at demonstrations outside and inside Longmoor camp and on which days; and how many were charged.
§ Mr. Giles Shaw[pursuant to his reply, 22 November 1984, c. 264]: My right hon. and learned Friend has now received and considered a report from the chief constable. The chief constable reports that one person was arrested by the police outside military land on 16 November, and that 25 people were arrested by the police inside military land on 17 November. None has yet been charged.
