asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is his Department's latest figures for the number of days lost through industrial disputes this year.

It is provisionally estimated that in the first 10 months of this year 18.8 million working days have been lost through stoppages of work due to industrial disputes in the United Kingdom. About 80 per cent. were lost in the mining dispute.
