§ Mr. AncramReceipts from the sale of council houses sold under the right to buy provisions of the Tenants' Rights Etc. (Scotland) Act 1980 cannot be separately identified in the returns submitted by local authorities. The following table shows the gross receipts which have accrued to district and islands councils from all sales of houses held on their housing revenue accounts —including sales to sitting tenants under voluntary sales policies and sales of vacant houses:—
