(2) how many (i) rivers and (ii) lakes have been affected by acid rain in Wales.

This information is not available. As my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for the Environment announced on 11 December at c. 445 an expert group has been established to assess the extent of acidification of freshwaters in Scotland, England and Wales and the causes of acidification.
