Dr. Marek

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what were the total numbers of (a) full-time state registered nurses, (b) part-time state registered nurses, (c) full-time state enrolled nurses and (d) part-time state enrolled nurses employed by the National Health Service in Wales (i) at 30 September 1978 and (ii) at 31 March 1984; if he will also express the number of state registered nurses and state enrolled nurses, respectively, at each date in whole-time equivalents; and if he will give the ratios for each date of whole-time equivalent state registered nurses to whole-time equivalent state enrolled nurses.
