§ Mr. LuceThe non-proliferation treaty is one of the most important arms control agreements. It has contributed substantially to the security of contracting parties. The British delegation to the 1985 review conference will speak strongly in its support.
The level of Ministerial representation at the 1985 review conference has yet to be decided but will be such as to underline our very firm commitment to the NPT.
