HC Deb 17 December 1984 vol 70 c48W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what consideration his Department has given to the findings of the report of the nursing studies research unit at Edinburgh university on the problems faced by disabled people entering hospital; what action he is taking with regard to each of the report's recommendations; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Newton

I am not aware that the report has been made available to nursing interests in England but I understand that the authors are preparing papers for wider circulation. In the meantime I understand that the report is being studied by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland.
