§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe public local inquiry into the demolition of Welfield, a grade II listed building in Hatfield, proposed by the East Hertfordshire area health authority for erection of a psycho-geriatric unit, is to take place on Wednesday, 13 February 1985. This date was the earliest possible one which was convenient for all the parties concerned. The inquiry will enable all the options to be considered before a decision is made on the future of this important building.
